Cardiac Technician, Cardiology, CM Health
The Cardiology Team at Counties Manukau Health is looking for a new full time Cardiac Technician or Trainee to join the Cardiac Investigation Unit Team. Our team includes Cardiologists, Cardiac Sonographers, Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiac Technicians and a great administrative support.
The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team involved in a variety of cardiology procedures including ECG recording, Holter monitor and Event fitting, Exercise Tolerance Testing and Spirometry across both our Middlemore and Manukau Superclinic sites. Our team is positive and forward thinking with continuous education and professional development, actively encouraged and supported by all members of the Team.
If you are a qualified Cardiac Physiology Technician who is currently a member of the Society of Cardiac Technology (SCT), is registered with the Clinical Physiologist Board (CPRB) and holds an APC then we want to hear from you.
If you have no prior experience but have a passion for working in the cardiac technical field, a mature work ethic and previous patient or care focussed experience then a role as a Trainee Cardiac Physiology Technician may be just for you. Trainees will be must have a minimum of NCEA 2, with passes in English, Maths and Science at Year 12. You will be given full on the job training and supported to gain a one year professional qualification.
