Full/Part Time & Casual Psychiatric Assistants - Tamaki Oranga
We have multiple openings for you to work!
This role will ideally suit a nursing student who has recently completed BN4.
Tamaki Oranga is a 20 bedded minimally secure inpatient rehabilitation unit, based in Otara, which works to the recovery model. If you like challenge and variety then this is the job for you!
We are currently looking for Psychiatric Assistant to join our warm and friendly team.  You will work within a multi-disciplinary team framework to provide quality care to individuals with complex needs.
We subscribe to Let’s get real skills. Your role will involve working with Mental Health Patients towards recovery as well as support family involvement. It is a requirement that you have an understanding of law, policy and practise related to this field.
  • Experience working in Mental Health
  • Good Command of the English Language, both written & verbal
  • Full & Clean NZ Driver’s Licence
  • Level 4 HealthCare Assistant or equivalent qualification
