Registered Nurse (Full/Part time & Casual) Tiaho Mai, Acute Inpatient Mental Health Service, CM Health

Full & Part time - Rostered Shifts

Leading Care. Right Here.

Tiaho Mai is the acute adult mental health inpatient unit situated in the grounds of Middlemore Hospital at Counties Manukau Health. We provide care for people from Otahuhu to Mercer, coast to coast, including Kaiaua and Port Waikato who are admitted into a hospital setting with mental health problems during a crisis.

We are now looking for NZ Registered Mental Health Nurses with a depth of experience and strong nursing skills. We are looking for a dynamic nurse to provide effective acute inpatient treatment, reflect recovery principles, and incorporate patient-centred carer support whilst maintaining a safe environment. You will work across our High Dependency Wards and Low Dependency Wards as part of a workforce passionate about supporting each other to develop comprehensive acute skills in all acute adult inpatient settings.

Already we have made some significant changes in the way we work, which are having a positive impact on service user experience.  Our focus is on developing strong multidisciplinary teams who work within an integrated model of care in conjunction with the community services and we believe that our nurses are at the heart of these teams.

This is a great opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of people in the Counties Manukau Health area while developing your own personal and professional practice.
