Are you an experienced Mental Health Clinician
, with a keen interest in working with tamariki in the Counties Manukau catchment area?

 

We have a part time, fixed term position available in child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS), working between Monday – Friday.

  

This position is responsible for supporting schools in the northern region to respond to mental health and behavioural concerns identified in primary and intermediate school settings. This role will support schools to enable a whaanua centric approach, signposting to appropriate primary care or community services, or when appropriate liaise with the local child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS), developmental/general paediatric services and disability support services. The role will build a system view of the universal/primary and secondary services for children with significant behavioural concerns.

 

Ideally you will have experience working with children, young people and their families/whanau, and experience working in health services is preferred.

 

You will receive on-going support by your line manager, clinical coordinator, other peers and opportunities for clinical supervision and professional development. Essential:

• Eligible to register or registered with the relevant registration board (Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work)

• Current Annual Practising Certificate

• A full driver’s licence with no limitations
