PermanentFull time & Part time opportunities for Registered Nurses at Te Puawaitanga (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service)

Are you interested in working with tamariki, rangitahi and their whaanau – making a difference in their lives and future wellbeing?

We want Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) nurses with sound knowledge and skills in working with the tamariki and rangitahi who reside in the southern part of South Auckland to come and join our team.

Our integrated locality based services provide specialist mental health care for those with serious mental health and addiction problems and provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns.  We cover the areas of Manukau, Manurewa, Papakura and across the Franklin region.  You will work mainly from our base at Springs Road East Tamaki, but can also have the opportunity to work from Papakura and Pukekohe locations.

If you would like to join us in shaping our newly configured team and you share in our passion, this could be the role for you!

We work closely with our tamariki, rangitahi and their whaanau, NGO’s and our clinical partners in primary care – GP practices, schools and marae.

You will also be provided with on-going support with clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.

  • Registered with the NZ Nursing Council
  • Have a current APC with the scope to work in Mental Health

  • Commitment to Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Ideally have CAMHS experience (however consideration will be given to those without)
