Clinical Psychologist, Taunaki - Child & Adolescent Mental Health

Permanent, Full Time or Part Time 0.7FTE

We have a full time Clinical Psychologist position available in our Taunaki (Child & Adolescent Mental health Services) team, working Monday – Friday.

Our vision for the Pasifika Mental Health & Integrated Care Services North is to become a Centre for Clinical and Cultural Excellence in delivering of evidenced based practice for all accessing mental health services.

You will receive on-going support by your line manager, clinical coordinator and other peers within your integrated specialist ‘home team’ (ISpEC), and opportunities for clinical supervision and professional development. Essential:

  • Eligible to register or registered in a Clinical scope with the NZ Psychology Board
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB
  • A full driver’s license with no limitations
  • Commitment to Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Has experience working in Mental Health
  • Knowledge in working with maaori models of practice is preferred but not required
