Are you a dynamic Registered Anaesthetic Technician who is keen to expand or extend their career into a leadership role as an Associate Clinical Charge Technician (ACCT)?

The Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine has as an ACCT role working across our two sites - Middlemore Hospital and the Manukau Health Park.

As a key team member, you will have:

·         A current Medical Sciences Council APC and current ACLS certification

·         At least 3 years’ experience as a registered anaesthetic technician

·         Experience managing and supporting staff

·         Experience co-ordinating staff to meet the needs to the operating theatres

The role includes:

·         efficient day to day management of our Anaesthetic Technician services

·         ensuring the provision of the highest quality of anaesthetic assistance and care of perioperative patients.   

·         Clinical workload, so you are able to maintain these skills covering both elective and acute services

We will support the successful candidate to develop your skills, including:

·         Joining our leadership programme

·         Locally led ACLS training

·         Ongoing clinical sessions.
