Project Manager - Te Aho, Northern Region Commissioning

About the role 

In this role you will be responsible for a project that enables the delivery of a metro region programme of work which seeks to improve access and equity of services by improving current service priority areas across the continuum of mental health and addictions. These priority areas were identified in phase one of Te Aho by Oyster workshops following consultation and collaborative co-design workshops with an emphasis on lived experience and māori input.

Reporting to the Regional Manager- Mentally Well with a dotted line and accountability to the Te Aho Governance Group which you will support to establish as part of role. This is a full time, 12 months fixed term Monday to Friday position. As a regional position there is a choice of primary location of either Manukau, Northshore or Whangarei.

About you 

  • Experienced project manager with good verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Qualified in project management methodology
  • Experienced at managing a range of stakeholders to achieve a common goal
  • Understanding of the NZ health sector and the reforms currently underway
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
