The Opportunity:

Gain valuable real-life experience & insights through the role of Clinical Psychologist. Would you like to work in a community mental health and addictions team, specifically developed to meet the needs of the Franklin area? Our team based at Pukekohe Hospital is involved in traditional Community Mental Health Centre work, as well as community outreach into primary care.

Our integrated locality-based services provide specialist mental health care for those with serious mental health problems and provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns.

We can offer you a chance to work both independently and as part of a strong quality-focussed team.  You will also be provided with on-going support with clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.

Essential:

  • Eligible to register or registered in a Clinical scope with the NZ Psychology Board
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB
  • A full, clean driver’s licence
