Papakura Birthing Unit is looking for professional and registered midwives to join their dynamic team! Working in a picturesque rural setting, providing antenatal and postnatal care for the women of South Auckland.  We do approximately 200 births a year and another 600 return to the postnatal unit for inpatient care after birth.  We are a supportive, dynamic team with great clients to look after!  We are BFHI accredited and pride ourselves in supporting women who choose to breastfeed with a high exclusive breastfeeding rate on discharge. 

You will have demonstrated outstanding communication skills and great initiative. We offer an excellent working environment with full orientation and extra educational support.

 Essential:

  • New Zealand Registered Midwife
  • Current Practicing Certificate
  • 2+ years clinical experience

Desired:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
