At Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau, an amazing opportunity is waiting for you in one of our Cardiology/Haematology ward, Ward 2.

We are seeking a Health Care Assistant that is enthusiastic in using their skills to improve the health of our South Auckland community. We have the largest Pacific and second largest Maaori populations in New Zealand with ages ranging 0-100+.

Salaries are based on the NZNO Collective Agreement Health Care Assistant salary scale between Step 1 ($60,100) and Step 5 ($70,358).

Essential:

  • 2+ years Health Care Assistant experience in New Zealand
  • Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in New Zealand
  • or NZ Level 3 Health Care Assistant certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed) in New Zealand
  • Good communication skills
