We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a high level of expertise in nursing to join our Women’s Health team in the role of Clinical Coach Gynaecology.

You will be a proficient or expert Registered Nurse with energy, enthusiasm, and initiative who is interested in developing your skills and ability to coach individuals to deliver safe, high quality care. 

A key role of this position is to work at the bedside, alongside staff, coaching and promoting evidence-based care and critical thinking.

You will want to continue to grow and develop your leadership skills.

Essential:

To ensure success in the role you will need to have:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Proficient or Expert level PDRP
  • A minimum of 5 years recent gynaecology nursing experience in NZ
  • Proven preceptorship skills 

It would also be preferred if you have:

  • Surgical nursing experience
  • A postgraduate qualification
  • Clinical teaching experience
