We are currently seeking a Trauma/General Surgeon to join our team as part of the Department of General Surgery. This role is a permanent full time position, based out of Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park.
The role and responsibility of this position will consist of surgical assessment and treatment in the area of Surgical Trauma and General Surgery.
We service a population with significant challenges by utilising a strong collegial attitude and an active focus on patient centred care. This position will require involvement in multidisciplinary settings in order to provide the best possible care to our patients. Our General Surgery department deals with a wide range of conditions which may require cross over into other specialities which will provide you with the opportunity to liaise with different teams across the hospital to provide the best possible care for our patients.
