Health Psychologist (Part Time) Critical Care Complex

Part Time 0.5FTE (20 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced Health Psychologist to join the Critical Care Complex team in a part time position.

 

The Critical Care Complex consists of 18 Intensive Care beds, 13 resourced of which 4 are dedicated Paediatric bed spaces and 6 High dependency beds. This section forms part of Middlemore Hospital, which is based in South Auckland.

 

The Critical Care Complex is known for state of the art equipment, fantastic facilities, and an excellent team environment. Our caseload consists of both adult and paediatric patients from the Counties Manukau District area. We specialise in plastic surgical patients from the Auckland Region, Burn patients from around New Zealand and the Pacific, and spinal injured patients from the upper North Island.

 

Working in this team, will provide you with an opportunity to work with a varied case mix of patients. Our dedicated Medical Staff work closely with our experienced nurses to provide the best outcomes to our patients.

 

Essential:

  • Eligible to register or registered in a Clinical or Health scope with the NZ Psychology Board
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB
