Our Organisation:
Health NZ Counties Manukau is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health care delivery within the New Zealand Public Health Sector. We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region. Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.

Counties Manukau has the highest birthing population of any district in New Zealand with 8195 women giving birth in the region during 2020 so there is wide variety of experience to be gained.
Counties Manukau offers a diverse range of opportunities; we have positions available in a variety of midwifery settings from midwifery lead birthing units, community midwifery teams right through to complex high risk midwifery settings. We offer extensive orientation to our services and actively support professional development.
