The Gastroenterology department is an integral part of CM Health. It is a fast paced and ever changing environment providing services to our Gastroenterology theatres and clinics. We are looking for a Technician who is a team player to join our friendly, close-knit team.

The ideal person will be fit and healthy because this role involves manual labour and standing for long periods. The ability to work independently as well as within a team is also an important component of the role.

You will be responsible for the decontamination of instruments along with the processing of endoscopes through the machines before being returned to the drying cabinets. We are based at both Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Superclinic.

Essential:

  • Customer Service Focus
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Endoscopic reprocessing experience is a preference, but full training will be provided
